How It Started
After high school, I wasn’t sure if college was the right choice for me. I wasn’t sure what my true career interests were, so I decided to work full-time before continuing my education.
I began working at Target, and my passion for beauty and skincare grew as I managed the Cosmetics department there. After a few years in retail, I enrolled in the Esthetics Program at the Academy of Beauty Professionals, and became a Licensed Esthetician by the State of Wisconsin in 2016.
I’ve always had a connection to entrepreneurship—both of my parents owned businesses. I felt a strong desire to work for myself, so I opened Hope Della Skincare as a solo Esthetician in 2016.
I began my business inside of Sola Salons, and in 2018 I moved into a larger space located inside 3D Brows & Wellness. That same year, I advanced my Esthetics education by becoming a Face Reality™ Certified Acne Specialist.
COVID definitely challenged my business in 2020. I had to close for several months during the initial height of the pandemic, but my amazing clients continued to support me. I was able to reopen in June 2020, and made the decision to pivot my business to work exclusively with acne clients going forward.
Now in 2021, I’ve expanded to a new location of my own in Green Bay! I also expanded my Acne Program to now include a virtual option for long-distance clients as well.
